Reporting Future Criminal Acts

A Public Defender has an interesting discussion of an attorney's obligation to turn in clients who have not registered as sex offenders.  Essentially the discussion turns on whether the client's likely future actions combined with the ongoing crime of failing to register are likely to result in future death or serious bodily injury.  Read the whole thing here and here.
